ILLEGAL Immigration activists hold a rally in L.A., near LAX during rush hour. Not only was this rally permitted by the L.A. Police Commission (who, by the way, issued the permit), it was all staged. It was supposed to be a call for illegal immigrant Hotel workers, who are allegedly underpaid, to unionize. But what it really was, should make the film making industry proud. These losers prepared beforehand to be arrested and released by the LAPD, wearing armbands that identified themselves a arrestees. Where is the true sacrifice in this farce of civil disobedience?

Last week "President" Hugo Chavez of oil rich Venezuela came to the United States to do stand-up at the United Nations. I actually found his comments about President Bush being "the devil" and the podium still resonating of "sulphur" to be quite funny. Not funny in the traditional stand-up comic way but in the "this guy stinks" way.
He obviously suscribes to the Charles Rangel and Al Sharpton School of Comedy website, because he sounded a lot like them using old worn out material found in the Deomcratic playbook.

He really showed a lot of class later when he took his gig to a Harlem street corner. I wonder if anyone put any quarters in his hat.

Patriotism comes in many forms, on a certain NY university campus it comes in the form of inviting radical islamic fundamentalists, who happens to be a former "president of Iran" a forum to lecture the U.S. with a hate-Bush speech and then fanatically applaud him. So we are going to prosecute Marines for killing some Iraqis in a very fuzzy situation. We create a professional killer and prosecute him when he does, because he made a call. The wrong one, possibly, but when is someone going to get the death penalty for the death of Pat Tillman (friendly fire) and for all the soldiers killed by IEDs planted by people who dress and act like the ones who were "executed" by our soldiers?
